Was the Raiders hat originally "open crowned", or was it perhaps a telescoping crown?
Was Barranca's hat a converted pork pie as well? Same model as Speilberg's? - The same hatband, only Barranka's is cut open?
The pictures above are from the Hawaiii sequences. The band on the hat to the left is a traditional Hawaiian "Huma-Papa" band made from bird feathers - very expensive. Barranka's and Steve's seem to be cheaper tourists models made from yarn.
